Successful collaboration with Jost – Iplast contributes technology and expertise
Iplast is a key partner for Jost in the development of sustainable plastic parts for front loaders.
Jost, based in Umeå, is part of a group with 700 employees, factories and sales organizations in several countries, and has customers all over the world. Jost manufactures front loaders with accessories that contain many plastic parts. Plastic parts that must be durable, hard-wearing and aesthetically pleasing. Here, Iplast plays an important role as a partner in both product development and design.
- Our latest new development project of a loader was done together with Iplast. They are competitive in both price, technology and competence, says Helena Lundgren, Strategic Sourcing.
- Iplast manufactures all the plastic parts needed around a loader, for example protective covers and hose clamps. They were already involved in the design phase, and the collaboration has resulted in ongoing production with weekly deliveries. The deliveries also work well. Otherwise, we work globally and Iplast is one of the few suppliers that we are close to - that also feels good, concludes Helena Lundgren.
