Iplast develops durable and protective capsules for Elsys wireless sensors
Since 2017, Iplast has contributed specially designed plastic parts for Elsys EMS, ECO and ERS series.
Since 2017, Iplast has had a close collaboration with the Umeå-based company Elsys (ElektronikSystem i Umeå AB). Elsys develops and supplies wireless sensors that are used to measure, for example, temperature, humidity, light and carbon dioxide levels in smart buildings, cities and industries. They are known worldwide for their quality products and their focus on environmentally friendly solutions.
To protect the sensitive electronics in Elsys sensors, Iplast has, in collaboration with Elsys, developed various injection-molded housings that are optimized for both indoor and outdoor use. The successful collaboration has resulted in Iplast today manufacturing plastic parts for all of Elsys' EMS, ECO and ERS series, thereby contributing to enabling reliable and durable sensor solutions.
